Marcel Siem returned to the winner's circle more than eight years after he had won his last DP World Tour title as he bagged the Indian Open 2023.
Shubhankar Sharma produced his best round of the week with a 4-under 68 and finished tied for 13th place alongside Veer Ahlawat (73) to total 4-under 284 at the Indian Open 2023. The duo finished as the best Indians at the event played here at the DLF Golf and Country Club.
Overall though, it was a strong display by Indian golfers with three of them in the Top-10. Veer Ahlawat was tied fourth while Angad Cheema (4-under 212) was tied seventh and Honey Baisoya (3-under 213) was tied 10th.
The two Germans Marcel Siem and Yannik Paul, are vying to be the first from their country to win the Indian Open and are separated by just one shot.
