Voting for the Rajasthan state assembly elections commenced today, with polling stations opening at 7 am across 199 out of 200 assembly seats. Long queues of voters were observed in various constituencies, including Jaipur, Kota South, Kisamidesar of Bikaner East, and Jhotwara in Jaipur.<
Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Saturday claimed that the BJP will form a strong government in Rajasthan where polling for the 199-member assembly began on Saturday morning.
Voting began in 199 out of 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan on Saturday after days of hectic campaigning by major political parties including the ruling Congress and BJP.

There is an appeal to young friends and first-time voters to cast their vote, said Mallikarjun Kharge in a post on 'X'.
