"BJP's accusation game or Congress' guarantees", what will work in Rajasthan elections

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], November 21 (ANI): As the campaigning, mudslinging, and blame games have all intensified with the BJP attacking the incumbent Congress government in Rajasthan, the grand old party has accused the BJP of only abusing.
A straight battle between Congress and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will also partially determine which of the two parties stands a better chance of taking charge in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
Addressing a public meeting at Rajasthan's Karauli on Tuesday, PM Modi said, "Rajasthan's Jaadugar (CM Ashok Gehlot) and Delhi's Baazigar (Rahul Gandhi) are both lying to the people. They cheated the farmers and betrayed the trust that they had reposed in the Congress. Only the BJP understands the needs of the farmers and can fulfil them. The Congress government failed their promises to the farmers and pushed them into a debt trap."
"They promised to build Kisan Bhavans for farmers but big bungalows were built instead for leaders of the ruling party," PM Modi added.
PM Modi also accused Chief Minister Gehlot of "letting criminals have a free run" in the state.
"Many were left bleeding from stone pelting while local traders watched on helplessly as their businesses were reduced to ruins. Even as the violence continued unabated, the riot-accused were hosted and treated to a feast at the chief minister's residence. Can the Congress, which patronises criminals and hosts them for feasts, ever protect you? This has been a familiar story in Rajasthan over the last 5 years. Instead of acting against them, the Congress government let criminals run free in the state," PM Modi added.
In a public rally in Kota in poll-bound Rajasthan, PM Modi alleged that the rally by the banned outfit Popular Front of India (PFI) is being carried out with full police protection.
"PFI rally is being carried out in full police protection; the longer such a Congress government remains in power, the more damage it will inflict on Rajasthan," the PM said.
Launching a blistering attack on Congress, Union Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said that the grand old party has only one mission which is 'Dynastic politics' and they have been trying to launch Rahul Gandhi since 2015, but have failed.
"Addressing a rally in Neem ka thana, Amit Shah said "Congress has only one mission, dynastic politics. Sonia Gandhi wanted to launch Rahul Gandhi. She has been trying to launch him since 2015, but he is not getting launched. Congress can never uproot corruption or atrocities from Rajasthan. They can never develop Rajasthan. Rajasthan government is number 1 in corruption. Number 1 on atrocities against mothers and sisters. Only PM Modi can safeguard the rights of the people of Rajasthan and develop it."
As the Congress launched the party manifesto for the Rajasthan elections, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked Prime Minister Modi claiming that the PM was always abusing him or Rahul Gandhi.
"The Prime Minister has not done any work apart from abusing us in the Congress. He abuses me, Rahul Gandhi, and recently he has started abusing Ashok Gehlot as well. He says that I abused his father. Why would I abuse his father who is not in this world anymore, what right do I have to speak about his father? I myself lost my mother, sister and uncle at a young age. Just me and my father were left. I am telling this to let you know that we do not speak like him (Modi)," Kharge said in a news conference in Jaipur on Tuesday.
Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a rally in Rajasthan Vallabhnagar ahead of assembly elections, said that the party, if voted to power will conduct the caste census soon after the elections and will protect the rights of unprivileged communities of the state.
"The country needs an X-ray to be done and the caste-based census is an x-ray. The BJP only thinks about big industrialists, but Congress will protect the rights of tribals," Rahul Gandhi said.
He also said that the system of the BJP is taking away people's attention from unemployment and inflation and shifting it to hatred.
"The question is, why is BJP spreading hatred in the country? I want to tell you two things, the reason for hatred is unemployment and inflation. The system of the BJP is taking away your attention from unemployment and inflation to hatred. The target of BJP and RSS is that the poor, labourers, farmers, tribals and Dalits be kept away from money. They want all the money to be given to a handful of billionaires..." he said.
Rajasthan is set to undergo assembly polls on November 25, and the counting of votes will be done on December 3.
Of the 200 seats, 199 seats will be contested on November 25 as the Congress candidate for the Karanpur assembly constituency in Rajasthan, Gurmeet Singh Koonar, passed away due to sepsis. The Election Commission, therefore, adjourned elections in the Karanpur assembly constituency.
The BJP won 163 seats in the 2013 Legislative Assembly elections and formed the government in Rajasthan. In the 2018 assembly elections, the Congress won 99 seats, while the BJP won 73 seats in the 200-member House. (ANI)
